How we review

Our verdict on Trixino Casino comes from a fixed set of weighted criteria and hands-on testing, and this page shows exactly how it is built.

The principle

A casino review is only useful if you can see how the conclusion was reached. Ours is built from seven criteria, each with a fixed weighting, scored after hands-on testing and a full read of the terms. The weightings reflect what matters most to a UK player: whether the operator is properly regulated for Great Britain and whether you can get your money out, ahead of how many slots there are.

Criteria and weightings

CriterionWeightWhat we look at
Licensing and transparency25%Licence details in the footer, whether they can be verified on a regulator's public register, company identity, clarity of terms
Payments and withdrawals20%Methods that suit UK banking habits, withdrawal process, identity checks, fees, how clearly limits are disclosed
Bonus terms fairness15%Wagering, maximum stake rules, game contribution, expiry, whether the headline offer is achievable at normal deposit sizes
Safer gambling tools15%Deposit limits, time-outs, reality checks, self-exclusion, how easy they are to find and use
Games and studios10%Breadth across slots, tables and live casino, studio quality, whether RTP information is available
Customer support10%Availability, speed and accuracy of answers to the same set of test questions
Mobile experience5%Browser play on iOS and Android, cashier and account tools on a small screen

Licensing carries the most weight on purpose. A Great Britain licence from the Gambling Commission is what brings UK protections with it: access to approved dispute resolution, participation in GAMSTOP, rules on bonus wagering and on stake limits for online slots. If we cannot verify a GB licence, that is reflected in the score and stated plainly in the review, however good the rest looks.

What the hands-on testing involves

  1. Registration. Owen Blackwood opens an account as an ordinary UK player would, noting what is asked and when identity checks are triggered.
  2. Deposits. Small deposits with his own debit card and, where available, an e-wallet, recording any fees, minimums and which methods qualify for promotions.
  3. Bonus reading. The full bonus terms are read, not just the promotions page. For the 777% welcome package up to €7,777 we model what a player depositing modest amounts would actually receive and what they would need to wager.
  4. Support test. The same five questions are put to live chat and email at different times of day, and answers are checked against the terms.
  5. Withdrawal. We request a withdrawal, go through verification and record the steps. Where we have not yet completed one, the review says so.
  6. Safer gambling tools. We set a deposit limit and a time-out to see how they work in practice.

Fact-checking before publication

Priya Shah then checks every factual claim against its primary source under our fact-checking policy. Claims we cannot verify are removed or turned into guidance on what you should check in the current T&Cs.

What we do not do

  • We do not publish scores from readers or invented "user ratings".
  • We do not let commission rates influence scores. See our affiliate disclosure.
  • We do not treat a new brand's promises as a track record. Trixino Casino launches in October 2026, so some criteria, such as real-world withdrawal times, can only be judged once there is evidence. Until then we say "not yet tested" rather than guess.

Re-reviews

We revisit the Trixino Casino review at least monthly during the first months after launch, and immediately if offers, terms, payment methods or licensing information change. Material changes to a score are noted on the page with the date.
